While not officially WorldTour level, this weekend’s events—Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne—are still great races. Late February isn’t a top priority for the big names, but they’ll definitely come out to play; past results are a curious mix of legends, second-tier-riders, and the occasional also-ran.

The only problem (if you want to call it that) is that the weather tends to be bad. The snowfall pictured above caused the cancellation of the 2004 Het Nieuwsblad (then called “Het Volk”), and a windy, rainy spring storm led to a crazy day at last year’s KBK.
